For this residential renovation, the client required a contemporary, visually discreet solution to delineate the pool room’s distinct areas while also incorporating a subtle yet effective safety element. A key request was for the installation to highlight the steps clearly, ensuring both function and form were seamlessly integrated. Aesthetics were critical, with the overarching goal to elevate the space into a refined, luxurious environment.

To meet the client’s exacting requirements, the NALR Vision Light Down Stair Nosing combined with an RGB LED Lighting System was selected. This solution provided the near-invisible integration the client sought while delivering a striking lighting effect that highlighted the steps with elegance and clarity. The RGB system also offered the flexibility to tailor the ambiance, further enhancing the premium feel of the pool hall.

The installation presented several technical challenges, primarily due to the disparity between the available LED strip lengths and the extensive 12-meter concrete steps. Concealing the joints between LED sections in such a continuous, clean design required the full expertise and craftsmanship of the contractors on site.

Throughout the process, Genesis provided invaluable support, and when minor component-related complications were encountered during the project, all were quickly identified and resolved by the team. They collaborated closely with the contractors to overcome all technical hurdles and ensured that the system was installed to the highest standard without compromising on the minimalist aesthetic.

Both the electrician and the installer worked closely with the Genesis sales team, facilitating client site visits and maintaining open communication from early planning through to final delivery. The regular feedback loops and expert guidance provided were instrumental in ensuring that both the client’s vision and the practical considerations of the project were aligned and addressed.
